This relatively new type of rechargeable Li-Ion chemistry is the best when the application requires very long life with very high charge / discharge. The energy density is low so any application using this battery type will have to consider a heavier battery (~40% more of LiFePO4, 100-200% more than the light types of Li-Ion). Perfect for stationary applications (back-up etc.).
Pay attention – has a lower cell voltage – 2.3V .
